We've Got It!

It has been a long time since my last post. A lot happened since then. I was busy with setting up the businesses, yes plural as in multiple business. In business, we definitely need backup plans. Not to say i am not confident with the business, but things can be pretty ugly. So better be prepared!

Onelift Sdn Bhd is now the official distributor of Teupen range of products (http://www.teupen.com). It took us 1 year to get this deal and I am proud with the effort we took so far. Now the real problem we are facing is to bring this product to the right customer. We can't do mass market advertising as our customer based are limited. You don't see people advertise cranes in the Star, do you?

Secondly, i was busy reviving the first company i have, Netcreator Sdn Bhd. We had on and off job for the last 5 years. Now hoping to get consistant job flowing. We manage to secure a maintenance contract with UZMA Group for the web site and also for their corporate brochures. Now i even do photography to cover the expenses!! Netcreator used to be just a network solution company and now, we have transformed into multiple entities. Again, to survive we need to provide what the customers want. So now Netcreator involve with web development, networking, digital artworks and photography.

I will do more of the selling pitch next time!

It is sickening everytime when i think about how i am being underpaid by my employer. the fact that there are less than 3 companies in Malaysia that can do what we can do today. still, we are paid just like any other IT company. heck! we are working with radar systems, electronic warfare and such. the cost of each of the equipment is mindboggling but the company treat us as if we are installing desktop computers and servers. It is not just about the amount of work that we give, but it is more about the expertise, knowledge and experience we have. this 3 elements can be easily exported to the competitor (by the means of hiring us with tripple pay!). Our bosses just dont realise this, until one day we would say "au revoir!" and they would say something like "oh, we just eat our own shit! the competitor can do what we always do!". just wait and see ... the pictures below say everything. ordinary company just don't do this. .n.g.

Market Penetration

Suddenly, my blog hits have reached to a staggering average number of .. yes .. 5 unique visitors per day. Well, it is such a huge success for me as this is an increase of 70% from the previous average of 3 unique visitors per day. If i were in a corporate world, 70% increase means promotion to Senior Vice President .. While i am celebrating this huge phenomenon success on my side (no i cant celebrate the N9 winning feat of Piala Malaysia), i keep pondering on how i can successfully promote my blog. Definitely readers are looking for something new, and sensational. I am not 'cute' or handsome, and definitely a turn off to female readers .. ha ha. The last time i had readers from Australia, and this last 2 days, i have a reader from NYC!! Look at my visitors' map. *so proud* .n.g.

Is there a Theory of Everything? by Dr Michio Kaku

i came across this article from Dr Michio Kaku, a reknown physicist. i've read a lot of journals, watched so many Discovery Channels and National Geographics programmes on the Theory of Everything, yet i still have not come across a good article to explain it all from A to Z. even wikipedia is not so convincing this time (wikipedia has been my favourite on other topics). i hope this blog eventually can shed some lights on this theory as i gather more articles and journals. for a start, let's read this article from Dr Michio Kaku.
