We had birthday lunch for Luqman just after the WBA 2011 Stage 4 Photoshoot. Everyone was tired. We thought Swenson had cakes in the menu, but they just don't. Poor Luq for not getting to blow candles. But we can always have it this coming weekend ya? Happy 6th Birthday Elhan Luqman. Ayah loves you ;-) @ Swenson's SS2   @ WBA 2011 Stage 4 with Aiko Harumi

Way Back Then

I started photography when i was 11. My debut for a wedding photography when i was 12, with a Fuji SLR camera owned by my brother. Ok i was forced to take his photos for the wedding. Not long, when i was 15, with all the savings, i bought my first SLR, a Canon T70. It cost me RM800 at that time ('87). I never looked back and always with a Canon (Canon Malaysia, pls pay me for this free advert). But photography was hard, expensive with no easy access to references. We could learn from books and magazines, and all those are imported, hence way upon reach for a student like me. The camera worked well until around '96 when a friend bumped a coffee table with my camera on it. The rest was history. Somehow, i quit photography since then. I didnt know what happened but i just quit. It took me another 13 years to realize that i love photography and coincidentally i really need a hobby to clear up my head. Hence i got myself a Canon 450D from mudah.my. It is a pretty good camera for

Where Do I Go From Here

Image
I could've found my self the time to blog, but i just didn't. Where do i go from here? Did anyone know where they were going? Did Steve Jobs know that he will be THE icon in the digital industry? I bet he would have said that he still loved the time he had while working with Steve Wozniak at the garage. I fondly remember the time we sneaked into the computer lab at midnight with the seniors back in 1985. I've seen the IBM before, the Commodore 64, but never an Apple. It was an Apple IIe. The only application or rather game that i remember was Karateka. For us, it was like WOHAAA look at the superb graphics at that time. Yes, the green moving pixels were all they had. But who cares *grin*. Running for our life from the wardens we did! nzm/> Please press enter .. Farewell Steve Jobs (1955-2011)
